The Prisoners are an Iron Maiden tribute band from Thessaloniki, Greece, active since 2006. Over the years they have performed repeatedly on stages across the city, with a significant part of their live history connected to Eightball and anniversary shows celebrating the music of Iron Maiden.
The beginning of The Prisoners. In 2026 the band celebrates 20 years since its first performance, marking the start of its journey in 2006.
Source: Rock OverdoseHarley Bar, Thessaloniki. One of the earliest independent references to The Prisoners documents a live show at Harley Bar. Pitch Black Records owner Phivos Papadopoulos later described the performance in highly positive terms and noted that the band played Iron Maiden for hours.
Source: Metal Underground1st Asprovalta Bike Fest, Asprovalta. The Prisoners performed at the first Asprovalta Bike Fest, organised by Harley-Davidson Club Hellas (Thessaloniki Chapter), as part of the summer motorcycle event in Asprovalta.
Eightball Live Stage. The Prisoners appear as special guests at The Puppets’ 10 Years Anniversary show. The official Eightball listing also names Stelios Sioulas on drums.
